Body Building Tips for a great shape

Bodybuilding Equipment: There is an array of bodybuilding equipment available in the market these days. You need to identify the most appropriate weightlifting machines in order to carry out a successful weightlifting program. The equipment being used for weightlifting must have a firm grip or it might be unsafe. Improper weightlifting equipment can cause the muscles to overextend and even result in an injury ranging from ligament and tendon strains to more severe injuries such as tearing of the muscle itself.

Weightlifting forms a crucial part of bodybuilding and requires the right machines for your body type. It is best to consult an expert before investing in a weightlifting machine. A safer option is to join a gym or bodybuilding centre.

Increase the intake of water: All body building enthusiasts must drink water regularly. It is important to get into the habit of drinking water before and after each exercise session. Having 10-12 glasses of water on a daily basis is a must.

Warm up everyday: It is important to warm up properly before lifting weights. It doesn’t matter of you are doing high reps with light weights or vice versa. It is advisable to do 5-10 minutes of light cardio work on a stationary bike or a treadmill. Warming up with the weights must follow the cardio which includes taking approximately 40% of the weight you will be using in your first exercise for your first muscle group and conduct a duo of 10-12 reps.
Use negatives: Muscle growth is the byproduct of muscle contraction. The stretching of the muscle during the negative phase of exercise causes it to lengthen while maintaining tension resulting in muscle hypertrophy. Negative reps are one of the most effective weight lifting techniques that stimulate muscle growth and must be followed regularly.

Focus: This should be your mantra while you are under training. If you are unfocused or inattentive when exercising you might end up with an injury. Proper focus will enhance your form and enable you to lift more weight resulting in better muscle growth and fat loss.

Diet: Your diet chart must get rid of all the junk food. It is advisable to include fish containing higher amounts of fat in you diet. Fish rich in Omega3 fatty acids are great as they make the muscle more sensitive to insulin thereby enhancing glycogen storage and amino acid entry into the muscles at the same time preserving glutamine stores.   Without a proper diet there will be no gain in your bodybuilding plan. You must achieve a positive nitrogen balance with a high calorie diet rich in carbohydrates, protein and fats in order to build new muscle mass and aid recovery.

Take proper rest: Taking a couple of days off training can help restore glycogen and increase anabolism. This allows hormonal levels of testosterone and cortisol to return to optimal levels.

Take proper supplements:  Proper supplementation is an essential part of a great bodybuilding program. A number of supplements are available in the market these days. You need to figure out the best nutrient supplement for your body. The key is to use a product that is best suited to your needs. Do not use any and every supplement you can lay your hands on as this can prove counterproductive. You need to consider your bodybuilding goals in order to select the right supplement.

Avoid too much weight: Using too much weight than what you can handle may lead to an injury. Thus, it is advisable to use the weight that will allow you to work in the rep range you are supposed to while using good form.

Have a Plan: Chalk out a concrete plan before heading to the gym and do not start any workout before consulting a trainer and your doctor. A bodybuilding regime without an instructor and a plan is not likely to work out.

Keeping these bodybuilding tips in mind will take you a long way and you will emerge with a great and curvy body in just a few days.
